Can I exclude some Twitter users from my scheduling?

Yes, you can exclude specific Twitter accounts using Glouk Connections. Under the avatar you will find a check box. If you check it, it becomes red, and that excludes the user from the new schedule queues (not those already existing). You can filter the Connection view to see all the excluded users.

Can I use my own Twitter app with Glouk?

If you want to use your own Twitter app to schedule posts with Glouk is very simple: 

  1. create your own Twitter app on https://apps.twitter.com;
  2. give the app the permissions to read, write and access direct messages;
  3. go to the "Keys and Access Tokens" tab and copy the Consumer API Key and the Consumer API Secret;
  4. go inside Glouk and open the User menu -> Options;
  5. go to the App tab and paste the Consumer API Key and the Consumer API Secret;
  6. save;
  7. go to User menu -> Social Accounts and add again the Twitter accounts you want to use the new app - no need to delete them first;
  8. authorize the new app for each account. 

Why should I use Glouk Listen?

Glouk Listen helps you to gather all the engagements for your Twitter accounts. Every new mention/reply/direct message is notified so you can easily manage multiple accounts. Mentions and reply are gathered as discussions and new mentions/reply are highlighted with a green background. Received private messages are organized as a mail box: you have new messages first, highlighted with a blue background. You can activate the optional hashtag tab which let you see in real time the discussions on specific hashtags you can set in Follow Management and analyse in Hashtag Monitoring.

I already have some Twitter lists, can I use them for scheduling?

With Deluxe, Premium and Enterprise plans you can import/export to Twitter lists and use them to schedule mentions or direct messages.

Can I schedule posts for Facebook or other social media?

With Deluxe, Premium and Enterprise plans you can link your Buffer account to Glouk. You will be then able to use our awesome scheduling feature also with*:

  • Facebook:
    • personal profile;
    • company page;
    • group;
  • Linkedin:
    • personal profile;
    • company page;
  • Google+:
    • company page.

* The above feature are depending on Buffer's API and can change at any time.

How does Glouk do the magic?

Glouk is based on our own semantic engine that analyse up to 400 tweets per follower and up to 2,000 tweets per hashtag. That is how we get all the data we need to provide you the best statistics for Twitter, let you find the best users to follow, and turn Twitter into a real CRM!

What do you mean by "monitor one or more hashtags"?

If you are a big brand, a trade fair or an event, you may have you own hashtags. This feature allows you to get a report for each hashtags you select. You will find the reports under "Hashtags monitoring" with number of posts tweeted in a selected period, impressions for each hashtags, and even who wrote with those hashtags. You will be able to use the lists of these users as a filter to schedule mentions or private messages.

What do you mean by "look for private accounts"?

Users that follow specific brands on Twitter are supposed to be interested in what they sell, somehow. So if you are looking for this kind of followers you should start following users that follow specific Twitter accounts. We suggest you to follow 50 users per day. Once you have selected the accounts you will find suggested users to follow in "Follow statistics".

What do you mean by "look for business accounts"?

In our experience users that tweet with specific hashtags are professionists, companies, or experts of those topics. So if you are looking for this kind of followers you should start following users that use specific hashtags. We suggest you to follow 50 users per day. Once you have selected the hashtags you will find suggested users to follow in "Follow statistics".

My free trial is ended. What now?
